On July 8-9 of 2020, ADENE carried out an online pilot action on “Domestic Hot Water Production Systems” of the Water Efficiency Technician (WET) qualification course.
This module focuses on the water energy nexus, covering topics related to water heating systems, efficient terminal equipment and water distribution networks.
The session was divided in two sections: an explanation of the theoretical concepts and a demonstration from technology providers.
The pilot action had about 24 participants amongst trainees and invited observers, from different areas of work and topics of interest. The participants positive feedback confirmed, in addition to the interest shown in the course, that the theme and configuration of this second module were well achieved. The training also contributed to the continuous improvement of the course in the objective of integration in the future Water Efficiency Technician course.
