The WATTer Skills project was presented at the 3rd National Plumbing Meeting. The event was organized by ANQIP – National Association for Quality in Building Installations and took place in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Aveiro, in Portugal, on January 7, 2020.
Presentations include topics over the Unified European Water and Energy Efficiency Label for sanitary products and on new training for plumbers/installers. During the afternoon, practical sessions were held with exhibitions and demonstrations of products and systems, giving participants the opportunity to test different solutions and innovations.
ADENE made a presentation regarding the WATTer Skills project outputs and possible outcomes and participated in a debate panel with several specialists and institutional entities in the sector. The presentation helped to disseminate the WATTer Skills qualifications map to professionals in the sanitary sector, in terms of areas of competence and training modules for Water Efficiency Technicians (WET), which include tasks that are currently conducted by traditional plumbers.
