ADENE met with the Portuguese advisory group formed by ERSAR – Water and Waste Services Regulation Authority, ANQIP – National Association for Quality in Building Installations, APA – Portuguese Environment Agency and ANQEP – National Agency for Professional Qualification and Education, in Lisbon, Portugal on September 27, 2019, to present the project progress and discuss the results.
This meeting contributed to the discussion of the first two reports:
- Intellectual Output 1 (IO1) – Setting the perimeter of “WATTer Skills”
In this report, the basis to the WATTer Skills map for the development of the two qualification profiles: Water Efficiency Technician (WET) and Water Efficiency Expert (WEE), is established. This includes a preliminary identification of the competence units and learning outcomes, as well as the project monitoring indicators.
- Intellectual Output 2 (IO2) – Qualification framework
This report presents the definition of the training and qualification/certification scheme requirements based on the learning outcomes previously defined and in line with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), to adopt and adapt nationally for training and qualification of the WET and WEE.
During the meeting, the dates for the pilot actions from the WEE and WET courses were also announced. The Audit & Communication with the users, from the WEE course, will take place on November 29, 2020, in Lisbon. The Domestic Hot Water Production Systems, from the WET course, it is foreseen for February 2020, and will also take place in Lisbon.
